Elegant, vintage, mortise cylinder plate made by, "Benton."

Each plate has a straightforward, square design with bold, beautiful, beveled edges. The bevels are almost 3/8" wide!

These pieces were made of the highest quality brass. They're solid, thick, heavy, cast brass, not flimsy stamped, pressed, or wrought brass nor plated steel. Each has tiny nicks and light scratches from the former owner hitting it with the key when trying to get it in the keyhole. Otherwise, there are no breaks, cracks, bends, or gouges. They are ready for another lifetime or 2 of
