* Please note that the 27"x74" in the title is just an estimate. The doors are  not exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions"  below.

Charming, antique doors salvaged from an old, 1880's home in Forkston, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir and are painted on both sides.

The doors have a Victorian style, 4-panel arrangement with 4 vertical panels. The panels are raised on both sides.

Hardware: Neither  door is equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of  hardware to outfit them (check out our eBay store).

Uneven Size: The height of Door#1 was unevenly cut by 5/8" while the height of Door#2 was cut by 1/4". The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut either door to an even height/width, cut them narrower or shorter, or even build them up to be taller/wider--message us for a quote.

Condition: Considering the doors are well over 100 years old, they are strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. They only have nicks  and scratches, but no  broken/cracked joints or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be  subtle, "character marks".

Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the doors allowing you to define its swing an install your hinges on either side.

Modification: Would  you want to take both of these doors and turn them into a pair? We could also modify the door(s) to fit your opening or suite  your  needs. We could make a frame(s), trim or add to the heights or   widths, replace panels with glass, reverse the swings, plug the hardware holes,  etc. Message us with a small description of what you would like done,  and we'll give you a quote.
