Beautiful, antique, French, doors salvaged from a 1910, newly renovated, $4 million home in Greenwich, CT (see last photos). They're made of solid Douglas Fir and are painted on both sides. Both doors have a recessed (flat) panel below the glass on both sides.

Both doors have an impressive arrangement of 18, true-divided windows with original, wavy, glass.

Both doors have a rabbeted (stepped) on the hinge-stile edge, as well as one on the bottom (see 10th photo).  However this is not an issue. We could cut off the edges on either door to make them smooth and flat--message us for a quote.

Both doors are equipped with strong, weather stripping on all sides (except the bottom).

There is a wooden sweep on both doors at the bottom, which sticks out 1".

Hardware: Both doors come equipped with ALL of their original antique hardware. This includes locks, knobs/handles, keyhole covers, hinges, and flush bolts. All of the hardware is in great shape with only minor scratches and small amounts of paint stains. If you don't want the hardware on the doors, we could remove them and reduce the overall cost by $50 prior to shipping.

Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. They have the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. Door#1 has a small break on its sweep (see 5th photo). However, there are no serious breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. or any other serious issues. Otherwise, the small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

All of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height(s) or width(s), reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
