25"H Antique Vintage Old "Toledo Metal Funriture Co." "UHL Steel" Wood Wooden Drafting Industrial Work Bar Stool Chair Stand

Cool, vintage, stool salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It has a round, maple wood seat and a steel frame. It was made by, "The Toledo Steel Furniture Co." of Toledo, Ohio about 80 years ago.

The seat turns 360-degrees, the 4 round feet pivot on a ball-joint, and there is a circular bar at the bottom to rest your feet on. Although the height of the stool was adjustable, the spring mechanism that allowed the seat to move up and down is missing. All that is left is the hand crank.

Structurally, the stool is very strong but cosmetically, it's a bit rough. For anyone who like a distressed or industrial look, it's perfect! For everyone else, the finish on the seat is barely there and easy to sand off and re-stain or paint. Expect nicks, scratches, stains, and spots of light rust (no pitting or heavy corrosion).

Our carpenter inspected the piece from top to bottom and said that all of the seat and legs are tight, and there are no weak spots what-so-ever. This stool is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service!
