28"x76" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Wood Wooden Interior Closet Pantry Door 5 Panels

Elegant, antique interior door salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The  door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine, and has 5 raised panels on both sides. The door is stained on both sides.

Hardware: The  door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good  selection of hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height: The width was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cuts were most likely made  to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could  cut the door to an even height/width, cut it narrower/shorter or even build it up to make it taller/wider--message us for a quote.

Condition:  Considering the door is well over 100 years old, it  is strong, sturdy and in great condition. It only has nicks and scratches,  but no  gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. The door has a split panel (see last photo). Expansion and contraction occurs naturally due to changes in temperature, and  the cracks are just a result of this process over the course of many years. It  may sound funny, but when the panels expanded and reached their limits within  their openings or frames; they were unable to stretch out any further, and  ultimately cracked in the center to relieve their stress or tension.

Otherwise, most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left or away from the room towards the  right. We can change the swing---message us for a quote.

Modification: We  could also modify the door to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or  width, replace panels with glass, reverse the swings, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give  you a quote.
