3.5"x15 Antique Vintage Old Art Deco YALE Chrome Bronze Brass Swinging Door Push Plate

Gorgeous, antique push plate made by, "Yale," of Stamford, CT. It is made of solid bronze and was chrome plated. The chrome plating creates a mirror finish--you could see your reflection in it clearly!

There is a larger, 1 1/8" diameter hole for a standard cylinder mortise (the barrel lock you insert a key into) and a smaller hole below that which was used for a knob rod/spindle to go through. If you don't want to use either a cylinder mortise or knob, you could either ignore the holes and install as is or put something over them to cover them.

Considering that the piece was probably touched hundreds or even thousands of times, it is in excellent shape. Expect light scratches and tiny nicks, but no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges. Even the finish is in great shape with only a few spots of wear. The plate is perfectly straight, very strong, and ready for another lifetime of service.
