32"x80" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Door 5 Panels

Elegant, antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The door is made of solid Douglas fir and has 5 raised panels on both sides. The door is stained on one side and painted on the other side.

Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay  store).

Uneven Height:
The door's height was unevenly cut by 1/2". The cuts were made most likely to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even  height/width, cut it shorter/narrower, or even build it up to a larger size--message us for a quote.

Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It only has nicks  and scratches, but no broken  or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. There is a small break on the bottom corner of the hinge-stile, on the exterior side (see last photo). The door has a cracked panel (see 4th photo). Expansion and contraction occurs naturally due to changes in temperature, and  the cracks are just a result of this process over the course of many years. It  may sound funny, but when the panels expanded and reached their limits within  their openings or frames; they were unable to stretch out any further, and  ultimately cracked in the center to relieve their stress or tension.

Otherwise, most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever  remains will be subtle, "character marks".

Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left or away from a room towards the right. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us
for a quote.

Modification: We  could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace wooden panels with   glass, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small    description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
