Beautiful pair of antique double doors salvaged from a 1910, newly renovated, $4 million home in Greenwich, CT (see last photos). They're made of solid Douglas Fir and are painted on both sides. Both doors have 3, raised panels on both sides.
Both doors have a unique, rabbeted (stepped) edge on the lock-stile running from top to bottom.
Hardware: Both doors come equipped with ALL of their original antique hardware. This includes locks, knobs/handles, keyhole covers, hinges, and flush bolts. All of the hardware is in great shape with only minor scratches and small amounts of paint stains. If you don't want the hardware on the doors, we could remove them and reduce the overall cost by $50 prior to shipping.
* If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote.
Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in great condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Door#2 has a small break on it's lock-stile edge (see 9th photo). Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks".
Modification: We could also modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the heights or widths, replace glass with panels etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
