3"x10.5" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID HEAVY Bronze Swinging Door Beveled Push Plate

Elegant, antique push plate salvaged from Northeastern PA. We removed it from a door that came from a turn-of-the-century, Victorian home and the plate looks to be original to that door. The plate is a thin, rigid sheet of solid bronze with wide beveled (slanted or sloped) edges. It's heavy and not easy to bend.

It's painted a grayish color on the front. The back side shows you the color of the metal under the paint in case you would like to remove it. Removing the paint is easy and could be done by leaving the plate in a pot of boiling water for about a half hour.

Considering that the piece was probably touched thousands of times, it is in great shape. Expect light scratches and tiny nicks, but no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges. The plate is ready for another lifetime of service.
