* Please note that the 28"x80" in the title is just an estimate.  The doors are not exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions" below.             

Handsome, antique doors salvaged from an old, home in Central New Jersey. These doors were original to the home's construction and the home was built during the first half of the  previous century. The doors are made of solid Douglas Fir or pine.  Except for Door #2 which is stained on both sides, all the doors are painted on both sides. They all have 1 recessed (flat) panel on both sides. 

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft   wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant  qualities that  old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old  have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine.

Hardware: The  doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check out our store).

Uneven Size: The height of Door#3 was unevenly cut by 1/4", and the width of Door #5 was unevenly cut by 1/2". The cuts were most likely made to  accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We  could cut  any of the doors to an even height/width, or cut them narrower/shorter, or even build them up to be wider/taller--email us for a quote.

Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in excellent condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, rots, warps,  or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and  whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks"

Swing: All doors are set up to swing into a room towards the right, or away from the  room towards the left. We could change the swing of any door--email  us for a quote.

Modification: Do you want to turn 2 of these doors into a pair? We could also modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make frames, trim or add to the heights or  widths, replace panels with glass, reverse the swings, plug the  hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what  you would like done, and we'll give  you a quote.

Northeastern  VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, & New England: We  deliver to these states every 2 - 3 weeks . Home  delivery would be $100 - $150 depending on your location. Email  us with the shipping zip code for an exact price.

* If you need the item sooner or are located  outside of our delivery range, we could pack and ship with UPS--message for a price. Let us know how many doors you'd like and the zip code where they need to be shipped to.

* Pick up in  Scranton, PA is also welcome. No "pick up" charges applied
