Charming, antique doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir and have (flat) panels on both sides. (Except Door#1 which is stained on one side and painted on the other side & Door#5 which is completely stained), all doors are painted on both sides.

Hardware: No door is equipped with any  hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check  out our store).

Uneven Height: The heights of Doors#5 & #6 were unevenly cut by 1/4", While the height of Door#4 was unevenly cut by 1/2". The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation.  We could cut any door to make it shorter or narrower, or even build it up to  make it taller or wider--message us  for a quote.

Condition: Considering the doors are well at least 100 years old, they are  strong, sturdy  and in great structural condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no  broken/cracked joints or any other serious issues. Door#2 has a split cross-rail (see 8th photo) as well as a small break on the top rail (see 9th photo). Doors#1 and #5 have warped panels (see photo #4 & #19). Most recessed (flat) panels are made of plywood, which are basically several thin layers of wood glued into a single sheet. Over time, especially if exposed to humidity (bathroom, basement, or kitchen doors), the surface layers of plywood warp and form bubbles.

We could cut the bubbles and re-glue them so they become flat. The scars that remain from the bubbles being flattened could be filled with wood putty or left alone prior to sanding--message us for a quote.

Otherwise, most of the blemishes that  they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be  subtle, "character marks".

Modification: Want to use 2 of these doors to make a pair? We could  also modify the door(s) to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make  a frame(s), trim or add to the heights or  widths, replace panels with glass,  reverse the swings, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description of what you would like done, and we'll  give you a quote.
