Antique Vintage Old Carved Victorian Eastlake SOLID Walnut Wood Wooden Console Side End Accent Foyer Sofa Table Stand Half Round Semi Circle

Exquisite, antique console table salvaged from Northeastern PA. It is made of solid walnut and retains its original stain and finish.

From top to bottom, this piece is beautifully embellished with lovely, Victorian style details. The veneer on the top is book matched in 5 sections, which shows the skill of the carpenter who crafted the table. Below the top is a shelf 5" from the table top. Except for the middle "bulb" of the front leg which was glued together, below are 3 elegantly-turned legs connected with stretchers.

The front leg has bulbous center which is composed of glued on decorative. The glue of one of the pieces has loosened over time allowing a gap to form (see last photo). This is not a structural issue, and the area is still tight. It shows no signs of falling off and will stay put for decades to come.
