This listing is for an Art & Crafts small secretary potable lap desk/storage box. It is built from solid wood with the traditional technique of pinned mortise and tenon joinery, adding both strength and the looks of a fine craftsmanship. No metal is involved. Lid’s hand painted sunflower design adds rustic charm to the box. Top slopped lid can be used as a stable writing or reading surface. Groove for pen on top. The interior is lined with padded blue floral fabric and white lace around. Small brass hinges keep the lid firmly attached. This box can also be used as a stationary box, counter desk, jewelry storage, cards, photos, etc. Never been used. It was a gift for Mother’s Day, packed and kept it in a storage facility for years.

NOS. Excellent vintage conditions. No chips or breaks. It has few superficial lines on the right side of the lid.  Please see last picture. It came that way. Some wood imperfections (knots).
