Pair 18"x73" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Double Hung Wood Wooden Sash Window Glass Lite Pane
Narrow, antique windows salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. They have solid pine or Douglas Fir frames with 3/16" or 1/4" thick plate glass.
Each window is painted an off white color on the interior side and a blue color on the exterior side. We could either completely strip the paint, stain, and finish, or prep the surface of the windows for a fresh coat of paint--email us for a quote.
The lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior (blue) side. The majority of the putty is missing, but the windows are still firmly held in place.
The windows are equipped with a cast iron lock and keeper, and a cast brass pull.
Both of the frames (sashes) are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, or serious flaws. There are nicks and scratches, which are typical blemishes that you should expect to find on old, used, architectural elements. These blemishes will be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted.
All of the glass is intact, and in good shape with only subtle scratches.
Size Increase? Are the windows too short, too narrow, or both? We could increase the size by a few inches. Email us with a description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
