Exquisite, vintage, bar stools. Made by Chatham County Furniture. The chairs were salvaged from the former Scranton "School for the Deaf". Each stool has a wooden frame along with a vinyl upholstered seat. The chairs swivel side to side (not 360 degrees).

They have 6 elegant, turned, backrest spindles. The chairs also have a cut-out at the top of the backrest to be moved around easier.

Connecting all 4 legs together (on both chairs) is a steel bar to rest your feet.

Except for a small rip on chair #2 (see last photo) and small amounts of worn finish, the seats have no damage. (see photo#4 for close-ups).

Both chairs are in great structural condition, but do have small nicks and light scratches here and there--typical wear for chairs this old. However, there are no serious flaws like breaks, gouges, rot, warp or any other serious issues. Our carpenter inspected each chair and didn't need to repair, tighten, or reinforce anything! The chairs are ready for another lifetime of service!
