Rare Antique Copper Brass Letter Opener Embossed Dutch Young Lady Flowers Motif Decorative Double Sided Mail Opener Desk Accessory Marked

For sale is a rare and unique Art Nouveau letter opener/envelope paper knife/ desk accessory. This stately and well-crafted letter opener is made of an alloy from brass and copper with double sided design. One side displayed a beautiful detailing figure of a Dutch young woman with a watering can on her right hand and holding a bouquet of flowers on left hand. The other side of the knife is an embossed cluster of flowers with H.W.H 3289 marked underneath. Solid, heavy and great quality! 

Measurements: 11 1/4” long x 1 1/4" wide.

Excellent condition with very light sign of age and wear. Heavy aged with original patina. A perfect gift for a collector!
