Round Short Vintage Antique Old Reclaimed Salvaged Steel Wrought Iron Metal Stool Chair Plant Stand
Short, antique, metal stool salvaged from Central CT. The frame is made wrought iron and the seat has a wooden base, some type of soft filler, and vinyl fabric secured using grommets or tacks. The frame and upholstery are black.
The stool is strong and could support over 100lbs. I'm 150lbs and I balanced myself on top of it with 1 leg. It felt very sturdy and didn't buckle or show any signs of structural failure. The steel they used in the middle of the previous century is far superior to the steel used today, so I would expect this stool to serve you well for another lifetime or two.
The bottom of one leg is slightly bent (bowed in). This is more of a visual quirk than a structural flaw. If you don't like it, we could bend it back for free prior to shipping--message us after checkout.
The fabric shows signs of wear mostly around the edges, near the tacks, but there are no rips or tears. You could tell someone used this while painting a room because there are spots and streaks of white paint from top to bottom.
