Satsuma China Hand Painted Ceramic Pottery Handles Urn Gilt Geisha Enamel +Stand

For sale is a colorful and beautiful designed fine ceramic/pottery urn/ginger jar with double handles and lid. It comes with hand carved wooden stand. Urn displays magnificent tones and hues, encrusted enamel colors, gilded embossed moriage geishas and floral illustrations on blue/greenish background. On each side is a scene with 3 geishas and a man on a wooden boat surrounded by flowing blue water, landscape and mountains in the distance. Colorful floral pattern with blue raised dots, between the scenes. Lid has an impressive floral and butterflies design. Heavy gilt on handles, trims, top of the lid with so much incredible details! The photos don't do this piece justice! Bottom is stamped: Made in China Satsuma 29.

Urn (with lid on): 9 ¾’H x 8” W. 

Urn without lid and stand: 7”H x 8” W. Base is 4 1/8” D.

This vase is gorgeous and in excellent vintage conditions! No chips, no cracks, slight crazing (part of manufacturing process) and insignificant wear on gold edging and top of the lid. Please see pictures.
