Lovely, vintage stool salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's made of solid Oak and has a medium stain color.

The former owner was also the builder and did a fine job! Notice the dowels he used to join all parts together (the darker colored circles where two parts meet).

On the legs of the stool, there is a beautiful, carved-out heart shape in the wood (both sides).

Our carpenter inspected the piece from top to bottom and said that all of the joints are tight, and there are no weak spots what-so-ever. This stool is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service!

It could be used indoors and outdoors. It could be used as a stool for gardening, for your child to stand on to reach the sink or counter in the kitchen, or even as a plant stand.
