The dresser has 8 drawers, each equipped with 2 brass pulls. The top 2 drawers have wooden dividers and all of the drawers below don't. We included photos of the top 2 drawers and one of the lower drawers for reference.
The piece is strong and sturdy but does have lots of cosmetic blemishes including nicks, scratches, and small spots of paint (see last 2 photos). The worst blemish is a spot of worn finish on the top (see 4th photo and 3rd to last photo). The paint is removable with some mineral spirits, and some buffing and waxing should take out and conceal most nicks and scratches.
Considering that the piece is 70 - 80 years old, the aforementioned blemishes are normal wear. There are no deep scratches, gouges, dents, chips, breaks, cracks, etc.
Our carpenter inspected the piece and said that it's built like a rock and in great shape. Usually one or two drawers need at least some tightening, but he said that they are all tight, and slide and in and out with ease.
The mirror's (available for an additional $200) glass is fully intact with no scratches, cracks, or spalls. The silvering is in great shape and the reflection is clear and crisp.
Salvaged from a clean, home, free of pets and smoking. The dresser has no odors.
