3 available Vintage Antique Old Mid Century MCM Brass Interior Door Passage Lock Lockset Knobs Plates Rosettes

Handsome, vintage door passage set made by, "Sargent Lock Co." of  New Haven, CT.  These were made sometime during the middle of the previous century.

Each set comes with 2 brass knobs, 2 brass rosettes, a brass strike plate for the door jamb, a lock with brass faceplate, 1 threaded steel spindle/rod to connect the knobs, and 8 installation screws to fasten all parts to the door.

These sets were salvaged from, "Advent Lutheran Church," in York, PA (see last photo) which was built during the 1940's. These sets may be that old.

The lock could accommodate either a left or right swing door. They do not use a key, so the locks will keep a door closed, but cannot prevent anyone from turning the knob or opening the door (non-locking).

All parts have a beautiful, original patina (tarnish). If you prefer a newer, cleaner look; the brass could be cleaned to a brilliant shine using "Brasso" and #0000 steel wool.

All parts are in great shape with only nicks and scratches. There are no dents, breaks, cracks, gouges, or deep scratches. The locks function smoothly and we greased their internal parts for good measure. The sets are ready for another lifetime of service.
