Vintage Old Country Goose Heart Solid Wood Wooden Box Crate Basket Bin Holder Storage Container

Charming, vintage, wooden box salvaged from Northeastern PA. The basket consists of 2 carved sides with goose heads coming together at the top to form a heart, and is connected with a series of thin, wooden slats.

I'm estimating that the piece is about 40 - 50 years old. This is considered, "New Old Stock," meaning that it was made decades ago, but was never bought or used. It sat on a shelf until it was acquired by the gentleman that we bought it from. It even had the original price tag of $9.99 which you could see in one photo. Unfortunately, the sticker was on the side of the basket for so long that it transferred part of it's ink onto the side of the basket. This is removable with a rag and some mineral spirits.

Since the piece was never used, it's in great shape. There are some scratches here and there which it acquired over the years of being moved around, but there are no breaks, cracks, rot, or warp.
